NefretitiM: Tonight on Literary Links we have Shah-Khalil Smith author of Cinetico Muse/ Dark Wolf. What inspired you to write Cinetico Muse?

Shah-Khalil Smith: My inspiration for writing this book was my passion for science fiction.  This passion has inspired me to take interest in science.  Science introduced me to how majestic of a tool our brains can be utilized. The hippocampus of the brain is responsible for memory, and it is our memories which aide in creating.

NefretitiM: How did you come up with the title?

Shah-Khalil Smith: I remember seeing silhouettes of wolves over the years in art, so I thought Dark Wolf would be a very intriguing title. I learned that wolves do not howl at the moon, but they howl when they are lost from the wolf pack. I also wrote this book is to connect with other people or kindred spirits like the wolf.

NefretitiM: What genre does this book fit into?

Shah-Khalil Smith: This Ebook is fantasy because one of the main ideas of this composition is a gem of which can transmute matter. When you write about fantasy, it gives a plethora of room to be very imaginative

NefretitiM: What influenced your interest in writing this book?

Shah-Khalil Smith: My muse for writing was reading stories of other authors Ron Howard, Stan Lee, and Robert Townsend. It fascinated me how an author’s literature can compel the mind to see things differently and at times take us to another world. When studying other author’s compositions; this aides my creative process

 NefretitiM: What is the writing process like for you?

Shah-Khalil Smith: I like observing original literature because I like reading about new perspectives, and it is a challenge to separate our writing from other authors, so we can truly achieve how brilliant we are as writers.

NefretitiM: What is the writing process like for you?

Shah-Khalil Smith: I like observing  original literature because I like reading about new perspectives, and it is a challenge to separate our writing from other authors, so we can truly achieve how brilliant we are as writers. I create my characters first then I write their back story because this process aides me in how the will react to their situations.

 Nefretitim: What tips or words of encouragement do you have for other writers?

Shah-Khalil Smith: To the writers young and old never give up because there will be an overwhelming amount of rejection.  Inflate your aspiration with critical thinking and show the world how grandiose you can be.

Roger Raffee: Unemployed

NefretitiM: How did you come up with the title?

Roger Raffee: Diablo is an outlaw town in the book, and there’s a railroad station in the town that plays a pivotal part towards the ending of the book.

NefretitiM: What genre does this book to fit into?

Roger Raffee: Classic Western.

Roger Raffee: Books & movies

NefretitiM: What is the writing process like for you?

Roger Raffee: Like watching a movie in my head

NefretitiM: What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

Roger Raffee: Surf, real surfing in the ocean, eat and sleep, make love to my wife, and as little else as possible.
